Does anyone know exactly who is the primary kick and punt returner right now? There has been all sorts of stuff posted on the boards and in the media. However the Depth Chart at sf49ers.com says Ginn is the lead on both duties. Yet most everything I have heard says it is Adams, until Williams is healthy, on punts.

this game, I'm sure Ginn will return kicks and Adams will return punts. When Williams gets healthy, I think both jobs will be his.

I'm not so sure Adams will return punts...I hope he does but like another poster said, they might not have him active bc we have so many DBs already...

PR: Adams, until Williams returns
KR: Ginn, until he steps up more as a receiver or bungles any kicks
I don't see Williams replacing Ginn as KR automatically.

I dunno, Ginn showed more than enough during preseason (and camp) that he looked awkward at returning punts (opposed to kicks; dropping balls), and Williams might be out for who knows how long (toe injuries can nag a player for a while at that position).
Adams would be the safe bet, we can't afford any stupid fumbles like last season in a hostile experiment.

James is still hurt so Adams becomes the 4th CB with Brock as the 5th.

In that case, I hope Adams take the PR duty.

I would be VERY surprised (and pissed) if he's not returning punts this Sunday.

I have a bad feeling about our ST again this year, Ginn hasn't been used regularly on punt returns since '07 and he has fumbling issues...

Yeah, my confidence is low on Ginn at PR. Why not give it to Adams? Mind boggling
