The upside from sundays game is we didn't really give the Saints much to look at on film!
Actually it shows them how to perfectly defend all 5 of our offensive plays

A win against the Saints will make Ninerland happy again, and make everyone hop on the Smith wagon again!...for a week.

Team goals of this game:
1. Cross the goal line with the ball.
2. Limit Brees to only 400 yards passing.
3. Have someone other than Nedney score for the team. See goal #1.
4. Ensure coach prepares his speech thanking the other coach for kicking his ass.

Beat NO = instant swag that should propel this team into the post-season.

IF we at least competed and kept it close, it would make me feel a little better

Because we didn't do a damn thing, I'm calling it a potential fluke. That was not us on the field, we are not that bad, we have not fallen off at every position in a matter of 2 weeks. What ever it was karma, voodoo, bad gas I don't know but something was off.

can they retire rice's number before the game so that way we don't have to stay past the first quarter?

i still think that we won't really know what the fluky parts of our team are until we play at least two more games. but a solid win or at least a really competitive, competent game against NO will start to clarify things.

I will b at this game. mostly because it is my bday and my fave player of all time will b honored. I hope we come out on offense and pass enough to make the saints d serious enough about stoppin us then mix in the run thereafter and not just up the gut and utilize some 2 back sets mixin in westbrook and gore. and please, please find a way to get the ball in vd's hands early and often to force saints d to help on him and open things up for the others on our offense and i noticed that j morgan is unstoppable on jump ball attempts, kid got hops. on defense we need to watch for screens and stay in coverage cuz saints won't run our our defense as well as most others. i just hope smith pulls his head out of his backside and we give a professional effort because we have too much talent to not compete wit any team in this league
