Hi all, Long time no speak, have had somewhat of a mental summer workwise so not had too much time to pop in, but with little going on in Football I'm sure I haven't missed too much. Anyway, I thought I would start up some momentum for an Official Webzone meet-up and headcount for the Wembley game over here in October. Maybe a nice Mod could sticky this for a while whilst we get an idea and possibly put some organisation in place? I can modify the list in this initial thread, but because of the time difference, if somebody with admin rights wishes too as well, then be my guest. Would be good if there are a couple of London based Niners that might have better suggestions than myself as to what we can do, where we can meet etc. I'm hoping, to be in London around the week before the game anyway, as hopefully, I'll be able to cover the game for the website I write for in my spare time over here, if I don't then I'll lkely just stalk the players and have the week off! :D Anyway, get involved travellers and UK based 49ers, let's see what we can come up with! are you going mostly to the UK or are you planning to travel elsewhere?

wife and daughter omy i just going on own and going with megabus from aberdeen 12 hour journey 12 hour bus journey but i wont swap with ya lol

www.gbtp.co.uk would be your best bet for tailgate party and is free entry no tickets needed as licencing rules in uk are tight for drinking in the streets

there will also be a official nfl tailgate party just outside wembley but you have to regester for free tickets and not everyone gets tickets bit like a tombola or you can get in after 1pm without ticket but beware after 1pm its run on a 1 out 1 in routine so not garanteed to get in and face large cueing

With what looks to be a 1.6 exchange rate for the pound, we will probably only be in London for Sunday and Monday. We are going to Italy first, then London, then may hit France or Spain for a few days afterwards. Wifey short on vacation time though, so all we have is two weeks...

That price sounds about right for Central London to be honest. The tube system works well and can save you a bunch if you dont mind a bit of travelling. But, if you're only going to London once may as well do it in style!

I wasn't being entirely serious. Mine is a couple of hours round M25 then a couple of hours trying to find a parking space! Epic!

Nice, I'll be spending the majority of my trip traveling through spain then a couple days in London before I head home... I cant afford to stay in london for too long anyways.
