what do you mean "seems like"?

true...what it all boils down to is dan snyder is a moron and this is yet another example of him overpaying a player that has no reason to get that much money. he posted two good seasons and they broke the bank for this guy.

people are quick to forget that this is the same player that tried to stomp on a guys head before he posted two good seasons. that should have raised a red flag right there that this guys head is not where it needs to be.
He'll sign, we tagged him with the franchise tag, which means that he either plays for us, or he gets a deal with another team, in which case, we get their first round pick next draft. What team is going to give away their first round pick for a 30 year old NT?

he got paid already and made the Pro Bowl again last year

he doesn't want to play for the Skins anymore though

look at his last two years with the titans compared to his first year with the redskins and tell me his play hasn't dropped off significantly

then we can talk

stats

also it's no secret that making the pro-bowl has as much to do with name recognition as it does stats

Uhh, the reason why he wants to leave Washington is because they're switching to a 3-4.

I think he means fail on Haynesworth's part for wanting to leave for that stupid reason.

Albert's making a $100 mil. Play the 3-4 nose douche.
I think after 1 good year all these guys want new deals then start to slack the Niners should sit tight and make him prove he's not a 1 year wonder.

exactly thankyou
Franklin will show up at training camp without a doubt. He is not going to kiss off a $ 7 million payday so he isn't going anywhere. Will the Niners sign him long term? Who cares? This year is the most important thing and Franklin will be there for the jack.

Roger that.

And for those of you wishing for depth at NT -- It doesn't exist. NT is the most difficult position in football to find, and likewise assess. We haven't drafted one because there has not been one in our draft range that has been worthy of serving as a backup at the position.

Name a rookie, or better, a 3 year vet or less in the past.............ever that has made an impact @ the 3-4 NT. Good luck. Besides, maybe our NT of the future is already on the roster.
In a 3-4 the Nose is the most important position without question. Read some of Willis' comments about Franklin. That really says just how important he is.

Vince Wilfork helped the patriots win a super bowl his rookie year. Casey Hampton also came right in and started for the steelers as a rookie and was a pro bowler in his third season.
