Crabtree/Hill Starting WR's?

Our #1 Reciver is VD...Making our #2 Crabs, Morgan is at best 3. Hill could fight him for it but i believe Morgan will be the second starting WR out there

I hope you are wrong. And you probably are because Hill ran a 4.32 at the combine, flirting with the fastest combine 40 times ever. Ginn ran a 4.37. That of course is just unofficial times from the combine (there are no official times), and Ginn may well be an eyelash faster than Hill IRL, but it shows you that they are both very fast and if that is your sole reason Ginn would be the 3rd receiver over Hill being the 4th you're not making any sense.

Hill is a glorified practice squadder. Id take B. Jones over Hill, Morgan, etc.

I think he's our #1, but ideally he would probably be a #2 behind a speeder reciever who could stretch the field.

You don't need to be a speedster to be a #1 receiver. Crabs definitely has the potential to be a #1 receiver and based on last year, I think he'll fulfill that potential.

Hill will compete with Ginn for the #3 spot. Crabs and Morgan are our clear #1 and #2.

thats what i think should happen too. i always like Hill, his injuries and something between him and the coaches kept him off the field last year but the guy is a good receiver. Morgan at #3 would be perfect. three big physical receivers and VD would be punking DBs all day

i always thought Hill out performed Morgan since they both hit the league. There's gotta be a reason why Hill doesn't get reps in a game. He must of pissed someone off.

Dude this describes Jason Hills play to the T. I know it's only OTA's but I'm hearing J Hills name alot more than Morgan, Jones. Man, I know alot of us have mixed feelings about Jason Hill but I love the kid and would like to see him unseat Morgan as the #2. I think he deserves it. He shows up under pressure. He runs crisp clean routes. He has better hands than Morgan (2nd best hands on the team IMO). I really hope this kid gets his shot at the starting lineup, or at least more PT.

This is not a thread to bash Morgan because I like him alot too. I just think Hill is more hungry and has alot to bring to the table. I mean that last series in the Rams game 2 seasons ago was all J Hill. He looked like Isaac Bruce out there. The guy can play WR. Give him a shot right?

I just think a Crabtree/Hill tandem sounds more dynamic and scary than a Crabtree/"Slow ass duck dropping getting caught from behind ass" Morgan tandem

I hate to say this about Sing, but it seems like if someone pisses him off, they sit in his doghouse forever. And one way is to get hurt where Sing doesn't feel it's bad enough to sit, but you sit anyway. I think that's what happened to Jones at least, and I seem to recall Hill, as well. Morgan's strength is just that, strength. He blocks well. I really don't feel he's lived up to the promise of that first year, and I was as high on him as anyone. I wish Ziggy was about 25 llbs heavier! I have a feeling he's one of those guys that can't put on weight, cause if he was smart, that's exactly what he should do and I bet he'd be at least someone's number 3.

Morgan was a victim of an unsettled WR depth chart and offense last year. First he was starting opposite Bruce in the two-back offense for the first six games and averaging about 15 yards per catch . . . then he makes way for Crabtree and doesn't sniff the field after they open up the offense for Smith . . . then a few games later the staff decides Bruce ain't cuttin' it and Morgan gets back into the mix, only at a different position.

I think Morgan will benefit from stability/continuity as much as Alex Smith this year.
