Are you saying we took him to keep him away from Arizona?

I doubt that is what he saying but it is an added bonus. We get a better back up QB while AZ only has has Lionheart. Not earth shattering but better than before.

It's kind of similar to last year with Warner. Carr is the best option to help Arizona. Looks like they're stuck with the p***y at QB.
stupid. shaun hill better not be a part of our team next season

OMG, and Hill beats us twice next year. I'd be so pissed.

Maybe they let smith know that he undoubtledly is the starter, Carr is just going to hold the clipboard, now go out there with the confidence of knowing you're the starter.

Seems logical to me...

if anything, I think this would make Smith look over his shoulder even more. I'm going to guess that Carr's career stats are better than Smith's. I'm too lazy to check. Both of them need to resurrect their careers and live up to their draft status. This is like tying two rocks together in the hopes that they will float.
I like it. An upgrade over Shuan Hill as a backup and he will give Alex Smith a little push and giving us a solid backup. I think him spending two years with the Giants just sitting back and watching and learning from Eli Mannings and Gilbride was the best thing for him and hey he showed in the little PT he got with the Giants that he can play when he is protected.
dont think he will be wearing #8

Yeah because teams are dying to know about Jimmy Raye's secrets
