Niners willing to trade Aubrayo Franklin for a 1st round pick

Hmm...

Trade Aubrayo for a first, trade two firsts for #3-#5, get Eric Berry + OT at 13? I'd do it.

One year wonder for a 1st round pick? For sure.
Not a chance. Unless we are moving back to 4-3 which I doubt

Hell f**king yea lol
Not too sure I'd want to do this. We need a good NT to be a contender this year. All signs point to us being dominant on D if we can marginally improve on offense. We're no longer waiting for the future. Next year should be our year to make some noise, and Franklin is gonna have play a big part in that.

If this is true, who's in their line of sight? Wilfork? A rook like D. Williams or T. Cody? I just don't see it. Why would they want to remove consistency from a very solid DL where he really was the cog in the middle of that D?

Ah, the offseason...

How about this one: Trade Aubrayo for a first, trade 13+ whichever pick is higher for the #1, sign Suh? lol (way too much money obviously, but Suh is a STUD)

Didn't Wilfork get tagged?
Misleading title.

A league source telling MM that he "thought" the Niners "would be willing" to do this, is not the same as the Niners "actually saying" they "would" be willing to do this.
This is a load of crap. MM shouldn't even have posted that
goddamn it MM, you stay f**king up
I can see the Niners trading Franklin since this draft is so deep at DT it is ridiculous. I mean, apart from Suh and McCoy, you have Jared Odrick, Brian Price and Dan Williams, who are all projected 1st round picks.

However, I don't see the Niners wanting 3 1st round picks, unless they flipped one of the picks for more 2nd and 3rd rounders. Now that would be sweet.
