49ers Return to London 2013

Has anyone else received their invites as well, are any Expats living in Europe planning to attend, what about European that just love the Niners ? The proverbial clock-is-ticking.

Maybe we can co-ordinate, and buy all our tickets in the same section, or several sections, according to budget level. I've already promised 2 friends, that if I was selected, they have a seat...they've registered as well, so the same applies. The invite allows from 6 to 8 tickets per client to be purchased, depending upon the seat location. Below, is an edited version of the email I was sent.

This site: http://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/
will help with the price conversion from GBP to USD...
PM me, or send me an email at FlayvaMeister@gmail.com
BTW, I plan to buy as many tickets as I'm allowed.

I'm not certain but I honestly don't think it will be an issue. The place will be wall to wall 9ers!

Hei Chief, I just ended a call (13:30/1:30pm PST) with the 49er's ticket
department in Santa Clara. The NFL (Corporate office NYC), has not decided,
or released yet, that information to the teams.

I was told, when this and other information regarding the game at Wembley
becomes available, it will be released and posted, at the official SF 49er's
website shortly thereafter.

In last years London game the Bucs which was the "Home" team were situated on the North sideline. However, I think it has changes each year as i'm pretty sure when the Dolphins were the home side they were on the South sideline.

I think its just a case of wait and see tbh.
What is the UK equal of stubhub?
Are they going to set up some sort of hotel deal for out-of-towners? Sheesh, the exchange rate is at 1.6, and my wife wants to cruise over to Italy after the game.

Maybe we could start a thread on things to do in London, along with good hotels, pubs to hit, and places to eat...? Good especially with some of the locals input...
SJ - I was thinking along the same lines. Happy to kick things off, so look for something later today.

Does anybody have any tips on flying RyanAir... I'm going to be traveling all over europe, from Germany to Spain from Spain to England... so I dont want to take the train. I've got a plan set up so I will only need my backpack.

Its just that I've heard some nightmare stories about these cheap airline companies. Any advice would be awesome.

Hei San Jose, I haven't booked lodging yet, just going about the logistics of it the past 2 days...
taking in what locals have to say, using the Internet, and Google Earth/Maps, to get a better idea.

I've found lodging, that runs the full range of pricing...so, I guess it depends on your needs.
For me, and in this situation, it's a safe place for the equipment I'll bring along...cameras,
laptop, digital recorder, microphones...and a place to sleep, for about 5 hours a day.

Hei London, in regards to the idea you and SJ have...maybe we can get one of The Mods,
to PIN the Wembley Head Count thread ? I know it wasn't started by you, but it already has
lots of information, in respects to those who've purchase tickets.

This thread, will eventually fade into the recesses of the WebZone' archives, as the days
become weeks...I think the WHC thread, is more relevant to the event, as we lead into it.
Just a suggestion ...

I'll try and update the thread and original thread at some point this week with a head count. :)

My tip on flying Ryanair would be: don't.

Try easyJet, FlyBe, Jet2, Air Berlin, British Airways if you book far anough in advance.
