He had a top 10 offense both years here. His downfall was Loville and Kirby as RB.

1995: Scored 457 points (28.6/g), 1st of 30 in the NFL.

1996: Scored 398 points (24.9/g), 3rd of 30 in the NFL.
Just say NO to Marc Trestman.

He is a good position coach and turns out, a good CFL coach but he is not a real good coordinator. He bombed with the 49ers, he bombed as N.C State's OC. Yeah that one year with the Raiders he did OK but that offense was set. I don't know, not a big fan as I remember how the 49ers Offense regressed with him as OC after he replaced Shanahan.
Harbuagh's staff from Stanford.
Once he meets and gets to know the Niner coaching staff, I'm sure he'll keep a number of them. He'll also bring in a good number from Stanford...which should result in assembling an excellent overall staff. If you look at his Stanford staff, it's pretty impressive, so he obviously knows how to put one together. This off-season is going to be the most compelling one in a long, long time.

It really didn't regress.... the problem was we let Ricky Waters go and replaced him With Derrick Loville, so we didn't have a rushing game we still averaged 28.6/g.

2002: Scored 450 points (28.1/g), 2nd of 32 in the NFL.

2003: Scored 270 points (16.9/g), 26th of 32 in the NFL.

2003 was just a bad year for Oakland... Gannon only started 7 games and you had Rick Mirer as QB and Tyrone Wheatley as RB.

Because he would never take the job. You think he wants to work 60 hours a week making a 100 grand when he can make that for some appearances?
