Considering the fair amount of debate going on about how difficult our remaining schedule really is, I thought I'd put together a quick view of what we'll be facing in terms of opponents' offensive and defensive rankings.
OUR CURRENT RANKINGS:
Passing Offense: 24th
Rushing Offense: 22nd
Pass Defense: 21st

It all comes down to can the Niners o line hold up so that they can exploit each teams weakness. They got run block better. And it's sad b/c they haven't faced teams that are good against the run(besides arizona) and are still getting overpowered. The key against the Colts will be stopping Freeney and Mathis on 3rd downs when they bringing the pressure. Stopping Manning is pretty hopeless just gotta contain them and get them off the field when they are in bad situations. Though all these teams have weaknesses they all have one thing in common good qb and good oline play which masks there other problems.

Wow, I'm a little surprised that Green Bay is the most balanced team, rankings wise, of all those. But those rankings for the most part conform to my feeling about our schedule: some real tough games, some real easy ones, and some toss ups.
Tough: IND, GB
Easy: DET, STL, JAX, TEN
Toss-up: CHI, PHI, ARI, SEA
Of course, the easy matchups on paper aren't necessarily wins. But I think if we can round back into form, our schedule isn't too dire.

So long as we win the games we SHOULD win, and with a little luck, 9-7 (or better) is definitely doable with our remaining schedule. What sucks is Arizona has a pretty easy schedule remaining too. We need to keep pace with them.

If so, then maybe you should back off a bit from football even though I think you're pretty safe.

Chicago isn't the same without Urlacher. I would move them to "easy." However, if AZ continues to play like last Sunday night, they will be "tough."
8-8 is realistic. 9-7 will take a big break here or there. Of course, any major injuries and the lack of depth is exposed.
