Alex is the starter?
the main reasons i could think to keep Jones and Hill inactive were because their style of play is stretching the field, vertical threats. Now that Smith is starting and has the stronger arm, what are the odds these guys get into the game?
I remember Smith having really good chemistry with Jones in camp.
Crabtree, Morgan, Jones and Davis on the field with Gore in the back field...
we finally have playmakers at the skill positions!

Will Jones and J. Hill be active now that...

I definitely think JOnes will be active. Hill--who the hell knows? That guys status and role are almost as big a mystery as Spurlock's.

Part of the reason they were inactive was the injuries we have at DB. Lewis and R Smith have been out which leaves Roman, Goldson, and an unproven rookie in Taylor. Once we get a little healthier we should load back up on WR's.

I'll be disappointed if Jones doesn't play, he supposedly has speed and we should try to use him as a deep threat.

won't there be fewer active roster spots available once we're healthier?

Apparently if Jones is doing better, he will most likely be activated.

Link? That'd be great. In TC all we heard about was Smith going deep to jones.

well certainly they should. if nothing else cause there is no tape on them and that would be an excellent way to out scheme the colts. plus there is no way that you wont have mismatches if you have VD, Delaine, Crabs, Morgan, Jones, MRob, and Hill split with Gore in the backfield.
actually almost any combination of those players seems rather scary, so long as it always involves VD, Crabs, & Gore.
holy crap.

We still have a predominately young WR corps that needs some guidance, Bruce is needed to play Sensei.

We can deactivate guys like Hudson and Taylor
