Thanks for the update, fzrdave. Someone just invited me with their group the next time they were in town is why I ask. And, yes, they mentioned Janet Jackson-like wardrobe malfunctions (with better results, clearly).

remember when the NoFunLeague banned the cheerleaders from stretching on the field because they said it was distracting to the players. wouldn't the game be great if those chicks played at halftime every week?

I gotta admit, I'm getting excited to see Crabtree play. I'm excited to see what the offense can do with Gore,VD,Morgan, and Crabtree all on the field at the same time.

I am too. The OL better step up and play, otherwise it's all a waste.

Michael Crabtree is the best runblocking receiver we have so he starts. Not too hard to figure out the Raye offense.

Crabtree as a decoy? He would fit right in this offense. Everyone has been a decoy on this offense so far.

I think the real issue here is we don't have anybody currently on the roster that is BETTER than Crabtree. Even though he has been away and only has a couple weeks with the team he already is our best WR. You play to win and you play the best talent. Crabtree didn't break all those records as a freshman in college cause he sucked. The kids is already better than all our other receivers before he has even played a down in the NFL. That says they expect big play from the kid to put him in so fast.

I don't think so...he'll be on the field because he's a player, and our offense needs all the guys who can make plays it can get. The hype doesn't hurt...at a minimum, it gives the opposition something else to deal with. They haven't seen him play in the NFL, but they all know he was the highest rated WR in the draft. It's all good...and will be even better when he makes plays this Sunday.
