Come on man you act like hes missed a ton of games in his career. He has missed 6 games due to injury in his 5 year career. That is pretty damn good for a running back with a s**t offensive line and no passing game to speak of.

somebody labeled gores ankle a "cheeseburger" and got mildly bashed....it was a bad analogy but a good point. i expected him to miss a few games like most of us so im glad he got it out the way so to speak. just gotta wonder how its going to hold up over these next 11 weeks

We have seen it two years in a row. I have a bad feeling that he is going to re-aggrevate it too.

Gore isn't that old, but he has an old football body with lots of mileage on it in a position that is very demanding and physical. I hope for the best, but I'm braced for the worse.

I'm sure they won't give him a full load of carries right off the bat...that would be just dumb. I'm pretty confident that they'll be close to splitting carries on Sunday and that Gore will be more of a factor each week. Depends on how limited he's been in practice too.

Singletary has hired a Pass Rush Specialist from the '85 Bears (Al Harris).
Singletary has hired a Crabtree tutor from the '85 Bears (Wendell Davis).
I suggest that Singletary go for the trifecta and hire a third member of the '85 Bears, the guy who used to tape Walter Payton's ankles. Payton NEVER missed a game. Seems like this could well be Singletary's most important hire.

I hope he lasts the rest of the season. I see Singletary using a heavy rotation with Gore and Coffee.

You know Gore has been hurt every year it seems like....He has a history of being injury prone dating back to college....we really need to draft a RB on the first day of next years draft.

That's great....I'm not taking anything away from him....but in order for us to pro-long his career since we are a power running team we need a capable back up....hopefully it's coffee...but only time will tell.
