actually Hill has done pretty well on 3rd downs....its just that either we run the ball on third down....or we put ourselfs pretty far back...
and this is not even counting the 3rd down passes Coffee and our Receivers have dropped that could have been 1st downs.
so even with the drops, Hill through 5 games on 3rd downs, has a
91.8 QB rating and is 32 for 47.
some of those can be check downs...but usually that has to do with the play call...or else Raye would be yelling at Shaun, if he felt it was his fault.
Now if Shaun Dilfer could just learn to throw some of those passes to someone past the first down marker...

I want to know where we were ranked prior to Gore's injury.

sometimes, plays are designed to be 2 yd passes! the quick outs, balls to the flat, etc.

This is delusional. Completing a 4 yard pass on 3rd and 8 is not helpful, even though it does help with QB rating.

Its because we want to establish the run, instead of thinking of ways of getting the 1st down.

But wait...Shaun Hill knows how to manage the game...
Has anyone else caught on to what bulls**t this is? Game manager? Really?
Put Alex in there and let's see some talent at QB. Better then watching a QB that throws like a chick...even though he can apparently manage games?
