Their defense is pretty crappy and we can stop the run. Shaub is good but he makes a lot of mistakes and if we can get to him he will turn the ball over.
Atlanta's coming off a bye and Matt Ryan is a beast. I don't see us coming out on top in that game.
The Colts game? It's going to come down to our offensive line. If we can run the ball effectively and keep Manning off the field we may have a chance. (see Miami gme) If we get behind it's going to be trouble as Freeney and Mathis will blitz the hell out of our team if we have to come from behind. (see Arizona game) Having Gore back (hopefully) will be a help though.
There is something to be said for having to travel cross country.
True. Although I think it would be easier to go from East to West Coasts than the other way around (not so early).
I think our defense can manage the Falcons okay. But unless our offense steps up it's not going to be enough.
Hill is unbeaten at home though.....
This will be key. Our offense can't keep running the ball up the middle for 2 yards. Shaun Hill needs to be set free. He's shown the ability to take care of the ball. He's earned it.

This will be theONLY way we win any of those 3. Cant rely on the D to dominate agianst those teams Eventhough it would be nice.

If our defense continues to play the way it has through the first 4 games, then we have an opportunity to compete and win every game on our schedule. That is a fact and not just me being a homer.

We should put up a good fight in that game
That's the one game I don't think we have much of a chance at winning. I just don't see us being able to hold off Peyton Manning and our offense won't be able to put up enough points to win it if they play anything like they did today. The Falcons are similar to the Vikings, but not as good. We should have beaten the Vikings so I think we can handle the Falcons, especially at home. The Texans are pretty hot right now, but they beat up on the lowly raiders (who I feel are just as bad as the Rams) and I think our defense is good enough to allow us to win this in a close one.

Our D is gonna wind up getting worn out if we keep up with the 3 n outs. Sing should've learned that from Nolan.

the one thing this game told me was that it looks a lot less about scheme and more about players makeing the blocks

Atlanta is very winnable. They have beat Carolina and Miami got thumped by the Patriots
There offense is ranked 24th in the league and defense 23rd in the league. What is interesting is that SI gives them a power ranking of 8, how is that justified based on who they have beat and there league rankings?

Im confident we will beat atlanta. Colts we will lose but it will be close and the texans is still a winnable game especially if frank gore is back by that time

Matt Ryan is a 2nd year QB...that means it should be easy to push him into mistakes just got to mix it up. Just need to keep it close and maybe we catch some breaks like we have all season long.
