Yup, and hopefully 4-1 after Atlanta. I think it's crucial for us to be 4-1 at the bye because the schedule starts to get tough after.

This is an 'up and down' league, nothing is really predictable, but I think we can be 7-4 by week 11, and close the stretch 10-6 to win the crappy NFC West.
We better make a statement though, cause I'm almost for certain our first round wildcard matchup (if we get there) could be against a team we most likely faced during the regular season (Eagles/Vikings/Packers/Bears/Falcons).
although I believe any game is winnable with our team.... those games @Colts and @Packers will always be tough.... these are two high powered offensive teams who are playing good Defense and are playing at home.
it is going to be tough to guard Dallas Clark...the guy just impresses me every single time I see him play.... I like Willis and Manny's agility....but I think we might need to put Goldson on him...the guy is like a WR.
and of course Green Bay....hopefully it won't be a cold cold weather game....if so that might also be to our benefit, because it seems like the Packers are a finesse type team now with Rodgers back there....and we might out tough them in those conditions.
those will be season defining games. a win in Indy will most certainly give the team the confidence to head into the playoffs (tho they seem pretty confident already)

Let's focus on the Rams first.. They look like a pushover team, but anything is possible.. I want us to beat them bad like we did the Lions last year (31-13).. Actually I hope we do better.. But once you overlook a team, that's when you lose games you should have won.. I want to see a 3-1 by our team name by the end of Sunday next week.. The last few seasons, we get to 2-0 or 2-1 and then start losing.. We beat the Rams, we beat that stigma of "looking good at the beginning, sucking really bad for a long stretch, and ending with some positives for next season"..
I want our strong play to keep getting better and better each week.. Man, Shaun Hill, Vernon Davis, Frank Gore are all looking really good.. Hopefully Gore will be out at most only the next two games..

I think we definitely have a legit shot against the Packers, and I expect the Colts to beat us...but I'm not going to say they'll dominate us the way they demoralized the Cards tonight.
I think somebody else on the forum put it really well when they said "get your heart transplants ready cause we're going to have tons of close games!"
Dwight Freeney is gonna abuse our Oline and Hill is going to be running around like a chicken with his head cut off, like he always does when pressured.

Might we see the 3-3-5? I wouldn't be suprised.
