Been looking for a Chicago Niners bar for years and Red Brick is only a few miles from me! Is there going to be a group here to watch the playoff game this Saturday?

The wife and I went to the Red Brick for the monday night game against Pittsburgh. It was a blast. Friendly people, good food, and a great game. We could not ask for more. We have been out of town for the games against Seattle and St. Louis, but will be back at the Red Brick for the New Orleans game. Everybody that can make it out should come. You wont regret it! Hopefully we still have a couple games left to get together for this season!

My time in Chicago (1992-2002) was mostly as a poor college student and basically the only Niners I got to saw was when they were on National TV. Times have changed since, but it's always irked me how the NFL works so hard to make the 49ers inaccessible to me if I don't live in the Bay Area
On second thought...don't do this, it's a big freaking mistake. Unless you want to blow tons of money on really bad food, lousy service, and really loud and obnoxious atmosphere to ruin your enjoyment of watching the game.
In 1997 and 1998, I started going to Dave and Busters up on Clark St. in the Near North Side. That stopped in 1999 though when D&B stopped getting Sunday ticket. I tried the ESPNZone.....boy what a mistake that was. I blew all this money on really bad food, lousy service, a really crowded, loud and obnoxious atmosphere too. I never went back there for a game again. For a while I just did radio and followed on the internet. Later I moved to DC, where I found a pretty good local bar and a number of 49er fans there too.

There was a good 30 niners fan at the Globe going crazy for the Divisional game last Saturday and it seemed like everyone had a great time. Everyone should come out to support the niners in the NFC Championship!

Since Red Brick is no longer there and is has now merged with the globe pub (primarily a soccer bar), where will we go to take over and make a new 49ers bar here in Chicago?

Hey all!
Towards the end of last season we started going to Red Brick as it was named our (un)official 49ers bar. Well they were bought out by the bar next door, The Globe Pub, which is a bar that's pretty into international soccer. Anyone know of a place to go to watch our beloved Niners? Or shall we just take over the Globe Pub like we did for the NFC Championship game! We had a great turnout, about 30 of us. I'd love to have a regular place to go every week this season! If anyone has suggestions, or knows bar owners who will let us hang some flags, and deck the place out 49er style, please let us know!!

Hey glad to know there are many 9er fans here in Chicago. Well we go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Mount Prospect but other than that I can't be much help.
