I would have no problem with the hit if it was accidental conduct. But as shown by the slow motion replay, Wilson makes a concerted effort to go up and hit Vernon helmet to helmet.
Hill is the one who threw that ball waaaaay to high though.

I get emails from a newpaper in AZ and they are expecting him to get a $50,000 fine and a one game suspension.

And if a Niner player did that you all would be cheering. Adrian hit Vernon with his helmet...so what? It happens in football.
You know Cardinals fans already made GIFs of the hit, much like we would do........illegal or not
Cards don't have fans. They have retards who don't know better than to root for them.

My point, seriously, though that was a pretty tough hit, these personal foul penalties are getting out of hand. Hines Ward is right, this is football, but at the same time tough hit by a pretty tough SS.
Apparently most of the people on here never saw a heat seaking missle named Ronnie Lott. This is football.

Woah, we were rite on point till that ignorant soccer comment, if you actually think that go search for futballerz like Rio Ferdinand and Sergio Ramos, I mean foos get knocked out for the year (or more) over in Europe, it's just the ESPN's of this country are too stupid to actually televise it enough or cover it like they should, it's just the USA sucks at soccer so we don't care, anything we suck in we don't care to watch come on man, watch a Barcelona-Real Madrid game and then come talk to me.

I don't care about soccer because it's the most boring game I have ever watched. That's why.

I felt the same way until we got the sounders. When you make the effort to get to know the sport and have some invested interest in it it can be a lot of fun. Whats crazy is for our home games its every bit as loud in qwest field as it is on football sundays and they only sell seats in the lower bowl. The environment is very electric.

Running full speed hitting helmet first is not football. It's for pu$$ies, and someone is going to end up seriously hurt. He doesnt even use his shoulder he spears him with the side of his helmet

There is a HUGEFDIFFERENCE between this "cheap shot" by Wilson and the one that Polomalu put on Duke.
Seriously what is AW sposed to do? Let him catch the ball and move chains?
If you are up in the air like that then you take your chances just like the rest of the Offensive receiving units do. It's up to the QB to keep the ball down where the Receiver doesn't have to fear losing his head or getting dropped like a bad habit.
Now that hit a couple years back by Polomalu WAS cheap. You hit a man in his knee the way TP did then you take a big gamble with another man's career at stake.

You go tell Ronnie that he's a puss. Make sure that he doesn't have one on his desk when you do.
Helmet to helmet? Didn't happen right?
Last I checked there is no "spearing" rule in the league like their is in Formative leagues.
So I honestly do not see what people are going on about. It wasn't like AW was out to end Duke's career.

I honestly rather watch WNBA than soccer.
