If the 49ers find some veteran help at OT, TE, or FB it could bump some other names off the 53 man roster and onto the PS if they aren't claimed. Maybe guys like Taylor, Briggs and Jean Francois?

IIRC, Coffee didn't do so great vs. Cowboys blitzers, either.

This is working out well. I was worried about Sheets like everyone else.
If he is as good as we hope then the Niners will know it soon and he will be with them for years to come. If not, well he just goes the way of other pre-season heroes.
