RB Korey Sheets FB Brit Miller OT Alex Boone NT Khalif Mitchell TE JJ Finley WR Dobson Collins WR Dominique Zeigler Per MM The 49ers have signed rookie RB Kory Sheets to their practice squad. In a bit of a surprise, the 49ers have opted to sign TE J.J. Finley to the practice squad -- not Bear Pascoe, who is now looking for work. 49ers sign 7 to practice squad: T A.Boone, WR D.Collins, TE J.J. Finley, FB B.Miller, DT K. Mitchell, RB K.Sheets and WR D.Zeigler. Per MB As expected, undrafted rookies Kory Sheets and Alex Boone have been placed on the 49ers' practice squad. I'll add more names as they become available ...Add fullback Brit Miller to that list, according to his agent ...Add NT Khalif Mitchell to the list, according to his agent .... What's that tell you? He cleared waivers. His lack of blocking and blitz pick up skills are so lacking other teams could care less about him.

Exactly. Too many around here aren't understanding that there is more to being a RB in the NFL than just running the ball. Maybe he can develope these skill and make the squad someday, but as of right now, he's not ready. I'm glad he made the PS, though.

mrob is pretty good in blitz pickup from what i remember. but he's not on the field very often in that position.

coffee needs to learn though. he got f**king blown up against the cowpies
