I like the guy a lot. But in an article it said if 9ners go 5 cb's he makes the squad. I dont know if we risk 1 cb in our division. BUt imo he was a beast in college, if he didn't get injured he would have been drafted way higher. Not to mention he is a crazy work ethic guy!

It's going to be very close either way, but I think he'll just come up short.

He is definitely a bubble guy. If I had to guess I would say, no. They will hope he sneaks through waivers and can be put on the PS.

LOL. You know - the OTHER ricky jean...
I say yes. Big men with his type of movement and explosion are hard to find.

In that blog post, Matt (can't remember which one) had it coming down to RJF or Green to make the roster. He went with Green, but I think (and hope) RJF wins out. I think we've got pretty good depth at CB. I'm worried most about generating pass rush. So I'd rather keep someone around that might help with that.

Can't have too many DL's or too many CB's in this league (look at how the Giants are structuring their roster and stacking defensive linemen...)
Our issue this year is that we have one too many good running backs -- otherwise both RJF and Green would likely make the team.

I have my fingers crossed he makes it to PS. Along with Brit Miller, Alex Boone, and Curtis Taylor.

I think he's practice squad fodder.

I see RJF much like Artie Smith, a 5th round DL pick back in 1993/94. He was raw, but had the NFL body and was a dedicated player. He was a valuable rotational guy and fill in. Every NFL team needs guys like this.
