Of that group I am only impressed with Singletary so far, he is a great motivator, but will have to get better at x's and o's to be a great coach.
Jed York & the 49ers will only get better as time goes along. He will lead us back to respectability.

Now that preseason is nearing an end, how do you feel about the teams chances this season?

9-7 (4-2 div)

I see a rough start with offensive woes for the Niners to begin the season. However, a late season surge from Shaun Hill and solid D lead us back to win the division!!!

Win-Loss Record: 5-11
they have us finishing at 6-10 this season.

we had Nolan for half a season last year, and Sing came in and we became good, winning 5 of our last 7. how on earth would we finish 1 game worse than last year?

Remember 2006? What a great 2nd half we had? And then we had a terrible season the following year?

So far all Singletary did was win meaningless games, just like Nolan.

How in the hell is a game meaningless?

Oh, lets not play since it is meaningless...not to this coach, thank God. Maybe Nolan classified them as meaningless. Every snap is meaningful. Every win is meaningful especially in the regular season, bad teams be damned!

What the heck is wrong with you people?

Average QB
Average Line
Average Receivers

Its not rocket science.

This quote is confusing. Does "old man" refer to that of Jed or that of Jed's unborn child?

"Jed’s unborn child is already a better owner than [John]."
or
"Jed’s unborn child is already a better owner than [Jed]."

what the intent is.

Wow a 6 game losing streak with a bye week in there. Man, I thought only Nolan could accomplish that.

Shaun Hill has shown in at least three games last year that he can run the hurry up 2-minute offense.

1. Against the Cardinals: Hill was calmly and confidently bringing us back only to give room for Martz to have a brain fart.

2. Against Miami: Hill was once again driving us with confidence and rythm only to have our 3rd string RT completely miss a call and our OC call the play to the wrong side.

3. Against the Rams: On the drive prior to the deep ball to Morgan, Hill gave us a TD on a very nice hurry up drive.

Hill comes through. He can't help if Martz sucked.

and...

4. He had another game winning drive against the redskins at the end of the year.

Gayest post i've ever read, sorry Joe Cool but your Obsession with Hill is making you Dillusional. If he was such a gamer, we would have been in the Playoffs in 08. Plus against the Cards he had two picks, which should have been 3. You can't blame that interception to Adrian Wilson on Martz, the drive before our last drive in that game.

Huh? My post on Hill at the end of games was in reply to what one of the "pundits" said "if" he can do. What was it, I'm paraphrasing but it was if Shaun Hill can run the hurry up offense...

So what, he had a terrible 3rd quarter against the Cards. He came back strong and has shown nothing but poise late in games. What are you talking about?

Nasty Nate Davis is the future

hill isnt gonna cut it. davis is the future.....

Hmmmm, I think I've heard this song before.
