How many games do you give Hill before pulling him

last year when he had a bad game coach Sing was about to pull him.. he talked his way out of it... got a 2nd chance, came back to win the game!!!

face it.. Hills the best QB since Jeff Garcia.. not as good... but when you had guys like Dilfer/Smith starting for 4+years... Hill completed passes and not going 3and out made him look like a GOD!!! lol

sure there are better QB's out there.. but McNolan would only bring in 3rd stringers to compete with our 1st round bust...

Ill say this again... please get it in your heads.. ALEX SMITH IS A 1ST ROUND BUST!!!... Rattay, JTO, Hill all beat out Smith... career backups.. hell even old noddle arm Dilfer was better than Smith.. JTO and Hill were 3rd stringers on bad teams.. not like they were backups to Brady and Manning.. the guys came from the Viking/Lion QB farm systems.. yeah..

imagine what would happen if we brought in decent competition... Brunell, Warner, Pennington, Brees, Vick, Culppeper, Garcia, Favre.. all these guys have been free agents since we drafted Smith

we all know what we have in Hill.. a good NFL backup.. but hey.. right now hes the best we got! the guy will get 1st downs and get us 3 points!!! lol and hey maybe a touchdown here and there... we all know this is gonna be the Gore/Coffee show this year.. but its nice to have a QB who belongs on the field for a change!

shaun hill was never an overall #1 draft pick, so he's never had to prove himself.

he stepped up last year and won it outright today.

As sing said hill got the job cuz of his unique ability to make the team play hard along with himself and cuz of his record last year. If he lacks both reasons n we start losing i think smith will get the nod fairly quickly cuz of how much he keeps improving.
