don't have to worry about Keasey this year. We dodged a bullet this year. He was going to get someone hurt

Well I think Roman will make the team and you know he is an experinced safety and we don't have much experince aside from Michael Lewis at safety so I can't really say I don't want him to make the team. I do want Curtis Taylor to make the team, that kid has some talent and a lot of upside.
I would go with I hope Arnaz Battle and Barry Sims don't make the team and am rooting for Michael Spurlock and Alex Boone replacing them. But I want them to prove it on the field, in practice and esspecially in the games.

Huard is a much better number two. It's time we put away the pacifier for good.

I really dont think Goldson is the answer... I hope he succeeds but I just havent seen anything from him that gives the impression of a "ball hawk" I've come to the conclusion that its just a webzone myth. I really like Reggie Smith though

yes, exactly. I know it was different personnel that Huard was working with against bigger scrubs that what Alex did, but he looked much more comfortable and fluid than Smith ever has. Smith should be battling for a rosters spot, not for starting QB. I dont care how good he "looked in camp". It's about how you deal with game time situations.

So you are comparing a veteran QB playing against third string scrubs to a QB fresh back from a major injury playing against a first string D? Yeah that makes a whole helluva lot of sense.
