Brandy Llyod don't make Brandon Lloyd catches, he ducks them.
why would we ever give him the ball? we have a multimillion dollar player at every position and we give it to the fullback. why?! Why did I wait all year for this?

I can't believe people are trying to rationalize Smith's s**tty throw to Norris.

Smith can't even make the most basic throws.

Smith made a lot of s**tty reads and a lot of s**tty throws, that was not one of the if Norris had turned on the ball at the goal line instead of the tree yard line that ball would have hit him high in the chest or face area, not a great throw but hardly as s**tty as some of the other throws smith made sunday.

Because in Raye's mindset, no one would expect us to throw it to Norris. That's why why he was so open. No one expect him to catch the ball either, but Raye

2. ProBowl RB that your offense is built around?
3. Top 10 pick at WR build for catch TD's as he shown in college?
4. TE/WR who is a matchup nightmare if lined up in the slot?
5. 2nd WR who is a high jump freak, known flashy catches?
6. OR slow as molasses, no vision FB used only for blocking?

tough decisions, but I believe Raye chose the wrong one. Anyone of our other skill player would have caught that pass, notice how MOran needed to turn around completedly to find the ball? bad pass, but horrible body control led to that incompletion.

Dude it was genius call, who would expect it! LOL!

It looks like a crappy throw.

a crappy throw that anyone besides Norris would've been able to adjust to properly and catch

You hit a 250 FB in the chest. He's not a WR or a TE.

you do realize Alex Smith had to throw it high on that play right?

There was a D-Lineman jumping and putting his hand out, the ball barely even cleared the Linemans hand. Any lower, and it would have been batted down.

I've seen highlights of that play all day and that is very inaccurate.

Only Vid I could find of it:

It was actually the safety, you can see him come down and make a jump for the ball. The camera angle behind Alex Smith shows the Safety missed the ball by like 2-3 inches if that.

Moran Norris mistake was he turned his whole body towards the ball too early. Once his while body was turned, he didn't have the agility to adjust to the ball. He turned his whole body at like the 3 yard line instead of near the goal line.

Excellent post man. You just changed my whole perception of that play.

Alex had a terrible game. But that throw was not part of it/

Thank Brazil and Gavintech. I was so pissed at Alex Smith before I saw the replay and noticed why he threw the ball high.

Like I said, if you watch the replay, watch the safety roll down and make a jump for the ball. This is why Alex threw the ball high.

Now watch Moran Norris turn his whole body at the 3 yard line, wtf? Any other reciever/wr/rb/ makes that catch.

Let me repeat, Alex Smith had a HORRIBLE game, but that throw was the right call on his part. And he couldn't float the ball, because you can see another Seahawk player rotate over.

The mistake was on Norris turning his body to such a degree way before the end zone, he took himself out of the play.

Edit: its the same thing with, relatively, with Mike Williams big reception. Clements bit on the play, but it appears Michael Lewis was suppose to cover the top, which makes sense why Clements bit on the play. Then M. Lewis completely blew the tackle (he literally ran all the way to the sideline for no reason), turning a 15 yard pass into a 30 yard pass. Look, I'm all for criticizing the poor performance of the game, but you guys have to watch the replays for the players that make the misakes.

Norris be runnin like a big water buffalo
can we cut this guy already? I feel like everytime hes on the field its a wasted play. Nate bynam can play FB/TE and doesnt look like he has flat tire running with the football, and he can catch too.
slowly phasing him out

I thought so too after the Atlanta game

but holy s**t he was in there for like 3 quarters today before they finally took him out in the 4th

correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure Byham was in at FB the only play where Gore got 16 yards?
Shouldn't be on this team.
I really like how he caught that pass from Ale.. oh, wait. No, he just sucks. He's like the fat friend in a group of hot girls. He's just ALWAYS there.
Moran "Hands of Stone" Norris should be released. Waste of a roster spot. Byham is more explosive as a FB and gives the threat of pass catching, something Moran can't do.
10v11 when he's on the field
