The same formula we used against Jacksonville, meaning...
1) First and foremost, protect Smith.
2) Be aggressive.
3) Put pressure on Hasselbeck.
4) Stop Forsett and force Hasselbeck to win the game.
5) Smith has to minimize his mistakes.
In this game, we need to do a better job running the ball though. Gore has big games against Seattle, so he should get at least 20 carries. I hope Raye gets creative with the run game because you can't expect to win on the road consistently with 40 yards or so out of Gore.

Yeah, Gore has a good shot at ripping their Lofa-less LB core to shreds again, but I think Seattle's gonna make this a tough game, but it'll be a hard-earned win for the MNF game.

Your last point got me thinking that our special teams did pretty well last game. I really didn't focus on the returner.
Also, I really hope we pass protect Smith because Seattle has much better pass rushers than Jax.

The O-line gave Smith decent pockets for the most part against the Jags, as a result he made some very nice throws. Did the line improved in pass blocking, maybe, but it may be more as a result of the Jags lack of pass rush. The same type of protection may not be there again in Seattle. Smith may struggled early because of it. It will be interesting to see how the line will hold up against Seattle. If they can just give Smith a decent pocket like they did, and through the rest of the year it would be awesome.
Teams will surely try to blitz more seeing our emerging passing game against the Jags. Beat the blitz. Make them pay offense!

Throw more screens to Gore and Vernon is always good to slow the pass rush.

The Seattle D is gonna test our new spread offense.
Seattle pass rush > Jax pass rush
Seattle @home > Jax on the road
And didn't the Hawks light up Jax, something like 41-0, a few weeks ago???
This game is gonna be tough. I hope the Niners don't overlook these guys.

Yep. I don't think they will. They need to win every game here on out to have a chance to make the playoffs.
