Jason hill had a good second half of the season last year. Now the poor guy can't even get in uniform. Something must have happened between him and the coaching staff.

It's because Battle is better.

Hill isn't going to see the field that much in this run-heavy offense anyway. IMO, it's probably better for his career to go to another team.

I do agree that Spurlock doesn't add much.

seriously it pisses me off that he does a good job last year and then he gets benched for michael f. spurlock. i see steve smith and mario manningham tearing it up and i think morgan and hill could do the same thing, but jimmy raye is f**king it u.

So I see Jones is practicing, but is he well enough where hes going to play??

BTW, I also think J. Hill should be playing, and at least the 4th receiver. Hill had some moment last year, enough to make me think that we didn't need Spurlock and Brandon Jones.

If or when Crabtree signs, I agree, someone other than Jason Hill should be released.

Brandon Jones (shoulder) is "making progress," Raye said, but it sounded unlikely that the receiver would suit up against Minnesota. Raye indicated that Jones still needs time to catch up "to the speed of the competition
