I know this will lead many to run for the nearest bridge, but don't count out Barry Sims from making this team. If he took care of himself this offseason, and re-committed himself to become a better player, he will have a good chance of making the 53 man roster.

I wouldn't use the same word, but I think people have completely forgotten he was on our roster last season.
The expectations for Alex Boone are out of control right now on this board, and I'm saying that Alex has to first leapfrog Bender, which won't be that easy. Many automatically assume that Boone has some form of fast track to making the club. The reality is that he will almost surely be a practice squad player in 2009.
