Our defense will be nasty in '09

We all had such high hopes for our D in '08, and well it was a huge disappointment. Nolan's big nickel garbage, complicating the gameplan week after week, not giving Manusky full reign was a headache. Since Singletary took over, he simplified things, made us strictly a 3-4, and let Manusky handle the playcalling. We improved dramatically during Interim Sing...

the future looks bright with P.Willis, J.Smith and rising stars such as T.Brown & P.Haralson. Here's to a badass top 5 defense next year!

Yeah, things are looking good on D. Franklin isn't bad, but throw in a guy like Raji or Brace and I think think we'll really turn the corner. I'm not worried too much about getting a pass rusher. Haralson is pretty good and I we'll surely add to the WILL this offseason. It's starting to come together for us.

I would love Haynesworth, but how awesome would it be if we picked Julius Peppers (who wants out of Carolina and wants to play in a 3-4) and then drafted Raji....our D would be pretty legit.

When did he stay he would take a hometown discount? I heard him say he would come back because he likes it there, but I didnt hear about the discount

Add a Saftey to the mix and lets get some woo hits goin.

Yeah, If we get some consistent pass rush, more turnovers and improved FS play.

yeah we dont need pass rushing playmakers

Pass rush has to be a priority, but I am not sure about Suggs. He only had 8 sacks (same as Haralson) last season and is going to command big $$$$$. I am afraid someone is going to overpay for Suggs, I hope it is not us. He we are going to overpay I would rather it be on Haynesworth> Guys like him are a lot harder to find than Suggs.
