Roman hasn't had an interception in 2 years and Goldson gets at least one a practice. He's a ball-hawk and that's why they're trying him out. Nobody on the team makes more interceptions in practice than Goldson so I can't blame Singletary for putting him in there. Plus, Goldson has more speed - he'll be better in deep coverage with better recovering ability.
But, you guys are slamming Roman way too hard. He's a classy guy and at least he's saying appreciative things about the organization on the way out.

If it wasn't for his experience his a** would have been cut. But right now he has the most experience on the roster if we need to fall back on. I'm thinking a 6th round pick for him if we're lucky, a 5th would be a steal.

had to bring it back considering the team just got rid of jj. so, when is #26 gonna realize that he has NO, ZERO, ZILTCH, 0, trade value and just accpet his new role (he'd still be too close to field IMO but on the other hand he has a better chance of being in postion to catch a ball on the sidelines)

I dont want to bash Mark Roman but Damm He was like an stimulus package for the other team just giving away coverage Anyway who in their right Al Davis mind is going to offer a trade for him?? I don't think we could give him away. Hopefully He'll find a team who we play against.

I gotta think that, sooner or later this season, he's gonna wind up in Denver.
