Because it seems to be a reoccurring theme when teams go to New England. The Steelers aren't the first team to bring this issue up and they certainly won't be the last. Second, anyone with even a basic understanding of wireless signals knows that pulling this off would be child's play.

And the best part is it doesn't have to be someone standing on the Pats sodeline. It could be literally anyone in the stadium making the likelihood of the Pats getting virtually nonexistent.

I have to say, it does seem rather odd that there's always some controversy surrounding the Pats and there's always an excuse why they have nothing to do it:

"No idea why one of our employees was taping signals and walkthroughs. But if we did do it, everyone does it so NBD. "

"Not sure why the footballs our employees were handling magically lost air pressure after the refs weighed them. Maybe it's the weather?

What's that? The footballs the opposing is using still weighs the same? Weird."

And now:

"Opposing teams having communications issues at Gilette stadium way above the league norm is also, like other well-publicized incidents we won't talk about, purely coincidence. You can be assured the Patriots organization is committed to upholding the integrity of the game. Srsly. "

If people are skeptical of the Pats, let's not pretend like there's no basis for that suspicion.

I don't think the signal is what's wrong, it might be that Brady received extra time

Would have to see the previous play

Glazer still has SpyGate tape, was threatened with jail over it Posted by Mike Florio on September 13, 2015, 12:52 PM EDT

Five days ago, ESPN and Sports Illustrated raced down a rabbit hole that the league long ago had tried to plug with cement. In the aftermath of new-old details regarding the manner in which the league destroyed the SpyGate evidence, one key piece remains.

It's the tape FOX's Jay Glazer debuted the Sunday after the Patriots were caught videotaping defensive coaching signals against the Jets. Glazer still has it, and he explained on FOX's pregame show that it lasts roughly 20 minutes.

Glazer also said that Senator Arlen Specter, who led the charge against the Patriots and the NFL in the aftermath of Spygate, tried hard to get the tape. Per Glazer, Specter initially offered to trade a much bigger scoop. Then, according to Glazer, he was threatened with possible jail time.

Despite his appearance, musculature, and attitude, Glazer didn't go to jail. At least not for failing to give up the Spygate video.

Ben Roethlisberger: "The Patriots seem to know some of our plays"

The Pittsburgh Steelers loss' to the Patriots is already nearly a week old, but there's no such thing as a statute of limitations when it comes to analyzing a past opponent.

Except when maybe that opponent is a little too analytical.

"I always felt they knew some of our offensive plays," Roethlisberger told the Cook and Poni show on 93.7 The Fan when asked about New England's past cheating allegations. "Maybe it was their scouting or whatever, but I've always felt that."

A damning ESPN report surfaced a few days before Pittsburgh's Week 1 opener against the Patriots that further implicated the team (and the NFL) in the handling of the infamous "SpyGate" scandal. The issue has since been resolved, with the Patriots long past their costly punishment and the evidence destroyed, but the entire ordeal has cast a black cloud of doubt and uncertainly over one of the NFL's premier franchises.

Roethlisberger has defeated the Patriots only three times in his career, posting a 3-8 record, including zero wings against Tom Brady in Foxborough. The Patriots were accused of stealing Pittsburgh's signals in the 2002 AFC Championship game specifically, but that was before Roethlisberger was on the team.

James Harrison was vocal in regards to his opinion of the Patriots, saying he felt New England had correctly diagramed "90 percent" of Pittsburgh's blitzes, which Harrison claimed would have been nearly impossible.

LMFAO "why Commissioner Roger Goodell didn't insist on testimony from McNally as part of the Tom Brady appeal hearing"?
