The Minnesota Vikings have signed free-agent QB Matt Cassel (Chiefs). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
FANTASY TIP: Cassel likely will be the No. 2 quarterback unless Christian Ponder struggles. Even if he did get the starting job, he likely would not be a fantasy option because of the team's wide receiver situation.
