asides from Shurmur I think atm the Browns are a lot more talented right now than they have been since they returned to the NFL (2 yrs with a bad team is not that long at all). Interesting to say the least, I could see Holmgren becoming the Raiders coach at some point.
I hope Holmgren doesn't go to the dark side!
whatevs.
he hasn't been successful above the head coach level.
Al Davis passing away was the best thing to happen to the Raiders since they hired Gruden. I think McKenzie is dedicated to building a good team. It'll take a couple more years to add more talent but I think they'll be in the playoffs in 2 years.

He got Seattle to the Super Bowl as GM and coach.

#Raiders say nothing about the ESPN report of talking to Mike Holmgren. Not able to confirm or deny. Holmgren on vacation in Europe, tho
Yes...and he will dump the carson palmer experiment and bring in Alex Smith with a reasonable contract to settle the QB position while he tries to build the rest of the team which will still fail
homos gon' hom

he was the GM + HC from 1999 - 2002
http://seattletimes.com/html/seahawks/2008156599_nflbuildingchart04.html

seattle's record:

1999: 9-7
2000: 6-10
2001: 9-7
2002: 7-9

after he was relieved of his GM duties to focus on being on HC only, then seattle became a more serious contender, their superbowl was 2005

Still wouldn't help them. He's hasn't been a great GM anyway.
