If you are playing in the Pro Bowl, that just means you werent good enough to make it to the Super Bowl.
Lol now that the 49ers are in the SB, I just cant look at the guys playing in Hawaii the same way. 49ers>>>>>>NFC "team."
I know the Pro Bowl has always been kind of a joke. But now its just an embarrasment. In the future, watching 49ers playing in the Pro Bowl will give me zero satisfaction.

I love the new pro bowl format, SB players shouldn't play in it, quite frankly the pro bowl is a stupid idea, not worth risk of injury.

The pro bowl is a horrible set up so I can't stand the idea. It is the worst all star game in pro sports, the best players don't play in it, all pros don't make the team, and its horrible to watch...outside that I love the new pro bowl format.

EA sports should just sponsor an annual virtual Madden Game where each probowl selectee player controls his virtual self...spectators can watch it with 3D glasses

Being from Hawaii I have a soft spot for the Pro-bowl. It was the only pro game I could go to as a kid without jumping on a 5 1/2 hour flight to the mainland. The last time I went was in the early 90s and the players liked to showcase their talents on all sides of the ball in the game and it was competitive and fun for them. The game has changed and its more like a business today, nobody wants to take the risk of getting injured and really don't care about the game itself which makes the pro bowl horrible. If thats the way its gonna be played, they should get rid of it. The fans dont want to see that type of play for the cost of a ticket these days.

Only game we get all year and the security turned into to real b*****ds and don't let us interact with players after the game from the tunnels, even if they wanted to.

It should be played AFTER the Superbowl the way it always was, not BEFORE.

Putting it the week before the SB (instead of the week after) was one of the worst moves (amongst many) made by Goodell; which means NO SB PLAYERS, AND BITTER PLAYOFF-STRICKEN PLAYERS WHO DON'T WANNA SHOW, nobody wants to play it, it's a joke.
Besides, most people just watch the f**king Royal Rumble on PPV that day, anyways.

it cant! no one is going to play near 100% in fear of getting hurt. so many players get to go because players are nursing injuries at the end of the season and the best players go to the SB

It used to be ok because it used to be a real honor to be selected... but now all it is to players is an extra check for doing next to nothing in a crap game

I used to like the skill challenges. Qbs, obstacle course, cbs and wr 40 yard dash. Deep ball qb throws. I like that stuff. The game itself i dont watch it.
