Steve was seen as a more duel threat QB while Luck is more a Rodgers type, who isn't really a runner but athletic enough to scramble for yards.

Yeah, Young was definitely the superior runner, I just think that Luck could end up resembling Young very much, especially in terms of his passing, ability to roll out and throw accurately, good touch on their intermediate balls. I don't think he'll ever be the runner Steve was (not many are) but I see Young as a pretty good comparison long term for Luck.

Yeah, he's been pretty terrible. Has a strong arm but not too much else. His career looks a lot like how Alex's started, high draft pick out of a system offense in college, probably started too early on a horrible team, some progress but a lot of peaks and valleys in their second years...
