Yup which is why we put two guys on em and he is neutalized. Every other scrub on that D can be handled with one guy. Some times no guys. They just miss tackles or take s**t angles. That team is a hot mess. Hopefully Fisher has been out of the game for so long that he hasn't caught up yet to the current coaching/players.

Seemed like a stiff his first couple of years but he's really come on.

They are not even close to the same type of player. JS is a 3/4 DE and Chris Long is a 4/3 DE. Long would have to put on approximately 20 lbs of muscle to do the type of work that JS does.

Thats exactly how Justin Smith evolved into the player he is now. He was 265 coming out of college and was strictly a 43 DE

They are almost exactly alike...Justin was a career 4-3 DE....who over time, and a switch to the 3-4 put on more weight....

Although details are not yet available, FOX Sports reporter Jay Glazer characterized the money as "huge." Long, the second pick in the 2008 draft, has panned out unlike many of St. Louis' pre-Fisher and Snead selections. The 27-year-old Long's sack total has increased in each of his NFL seasons, and he topped out with a team-high 13.0 in 2011. Long could stand to improve his run defense, but he's quietly developed into a premier NFL edge rusher.

He's good, but "huge money" good?
Hey, Howie is a good guy, his son has played consistently and stayed out of trouble. Putting the pressure on the qb and outside contain is big. Good for Chris.

The Rams have the potential to have a "nasty" defense, perhaps the best in this division.
Long, Brockers, Quinn, Laurinitis, Finnegan, Jenkins. Damn........
