he put up nearly 1000 yards and 13 TDs with Shaun Hill/Alex Smith as his QB under Jimmy Raye's offense one year. No doubt he could get 400 more yards and 4 more TDs with Brady in the Patriot's system (matching Gronk's numbers)

Vernon is the all around best TE in the game, when it comes to receiving, blocking, athleticism, mismatches, whatever. Vernon could do everything. No way Gronk can do what Vernon did in last postseason.

Ya Gronkowski is great at this. He can catch it wherever the ball is thrown to him. probably the best at that out of all TEs

would still rather have Vernon though He made a few sideline passes in the post season that I remember well, but Gronk catches everything

Gronk deserves it. I hope this doesn't affect Delanie's contract demands.
