I'm not a Lions fan or cared about Matt Stafford, the Lions starting QB. But after reading this article about him paying $15,000 on a NFL football game package for a sick kid and his family to see the Lions play the Bears on Monday Night this fall I am now a fan of the guy. Class act and the money goes to a children's hospital.

Agree. I remember Warrick Dunn had a kick-a-s charity for single mothers to get them back on their feet. Other NFL players do similiar things.

Seriously and to the other guy who wrote about it being a "tax write off" people should realize that just because its a "tax write off" doesn't mean it didn't cost Stafford 15k. It only means he won't get taxed on spending that amount.
