Iphones and tablets can easily be hacked (far more easier to compromise than a notebook locked down with a nifty firewall).
Sure it's a great way to keep the players attentive/pick things up faster on the run, but it's asking for trouble.

Im sure if the players object and prefer the paper copy, they are more than welcome. but the ipads are actually a really good idea.

I don't think they'll get hacked by another team, but an enterprising fan, I can't imagine that not happening. Heck, if I had the technical know-how I'd definitely try to hack into one of those.
