If you add the fact that we had a payroll of around 103M, with a 123.375M Cap, we had $20.375M left, then the report was 12.6M by Maiocco, so it would of been 32.6M, but it appears to be 37.245M if correct. Which gives us a little oveer 7M more to work with, plus Spencer would save 3.3M, so If we were to head into free agency with these moves, we would have over 40M to spend, so we should be good to go.
this is great news

37 should allow us to sign every one of our guys that we want too

this makes me even more excited for the offseason!
So does this allow us to sign a big name WR like a Bowe, Vjax or Colston?

After we sign all our guys?
This gets me pumped it could even get us a WR like Bowe if available or Vincent Jackson we need to go all in on VJax.

Giants: $1.06 million.

Giants have 21 unrestricted free agents, plus a bunch of stars like Cruz, Osi, Nicks, etc. who are vastly underpaid and nearing the end of their deals.
Matt Maiocco @MaioccoCSN
@RayEthan408 49ers can carryover $16.87M to '12 cap? > After incentives, it's $12.6M, and it's already happened. bitly.com/xW5ng1
Matt Maiocco @MaioccoCSN
Salary cap fact: 49ers last year signed multi-year deals w/ McDonald, Whitner, Akers and Goodwin for combined $8.65M in 2011 cap space.

Quick Question. I see the Colts are at 2.5. If they don't pay Manning the roster bonus does that effect that number?

Manning's 28M option bonus really isnt all in one season, it is pro-rated over 5 seasons, including 2011. While in a sense they save money over the life of the contract, they save 1/5ths of the money for 2012, and 4/5 years, his 2011 season part of the option is already paid.

Around 34.5M under before any deals or releases. We will free up $3.3M when cutting Spencer, to bring us to 37.8M, We would have the ability to use a 1.5M exception on say Haralson, which gives us an additional 1.5M, or we release Haralson and creat 2.15M instead of the 1.5M. I wouldnt release Haralson unless Brooks is agreed and signed upon release of haralson.
