wow unbelievably stupid
It was expected. As good as Aldon was he was only a part time player.
Thats horrible....
von miller shouldve won it

he was a starter
aldon wasnt

von miller had just about as many sacks but 2x the tacklers and more FF as well
oh well Aldon will be a defensive MVP instead

This. Von Miller can have his moment, long-term I see Aldon as the better player, bigger, with more potential, more room to grow into.
It's less atrocious than Suggs winning the DPOY over Smith.

That was east coast bias in its purest form.
Too bad miller per play got owned by smith and he was benched for being inconsistent not smith. Smith deserved it. Maybe we should of named smith the starter and had him rotate at least then nobody could argue he isn't a starter hahahahaha. The lack of logic is remarkable. Aldon made more plays with less snaps. Wow

Can someone explain where this east coast bias comes from?

Are all the media reporting outlets from the east coast? What about the media in the west coast?
Just surprised it wasn't closer. I guess they factored that Miller was a starter. Wonder how it would have turned out had Smith got 1 more sack the last game for the rookie record.
More motivation for next season.
as soon as Smith got his DUI, it was over for him.

You are probably right. Especially since it JUST happened.
