not sure how news of a HC being HIRED goes in the HC FIRING thread, but ok

I actually like the hire, Shiano turned around the program to where people actually know what/where Rutgers is, made them competitive, elevated them to where they can compete with schools for big time recruits, ran something similar to a pro system, more and more Rutgers alumni has been landing in the NFL.

Solid hire IMO, better than Chip Kelly anyways

Randy Edsall also built a program up from nothing... And took a bigger job and look where he is now.

he hardly has any NFL coaching experience (2 years with the Bears) but considering what he did at Rutgers must be doing something right. But damn it was such an odd hire
