Well the season is almost over and the AFC does not appear to have one dominant team, but rather a bunch of really good ones. The Patriots are playing the best football right now, having won 7 in a row (albeit against mostly scrub teams) but their defense is still the lowest rated in terms of yards, and middle of the pack in points. I don't know if that gets it done in the playoffs. They are the #1 seed and will have the luxury of home field advantage
The Ravens seem unstoppable at home, but vulnerable on the road. Joe Flacco and crew did pull of that crazy upset of the Patriots in NE a few years ago, so anything can happen. They still have to knock off the Bengals in Cincinatti to claim the division and they could easily lose that game. If they lose and have to play on the road throught the playoffs, I doubt they make it.
If Ben's ankle improves then the Steelers can be very scary with that defense. But unless the Bengals knock off the Ravens they have to play in the wildcard round so there is not going to be much rest for him. If they get really hot with a healthy Ben they could very well take it all the way.
You can stick a proverbial fork in the Texans. No way TJ Yates leads them to a super bowl lol.
My vote is the Patriots, they're playing very well right now, and will be at home in the playoffs.

If the 49ers do not make the superbowl this year, a major shame the Texans lost their QBs and Andre Johnson.

I have long said that when the 49ers finally DO make it back to the big show, there is only one team they are destined to face just one more time.......

I don't know. But whoever it is will probably lose. With two weeks prep at a neutral site, none of the AFC teams has a shot against the Packers, Niners or Saints. The NFC championship is the real Superbowl.

If I had money to bet thats what I would predict. And you will see the official changing of the guard on who has the best D in the game.
