Todd had deeper issues beyond on-the-field coaching duties. Did not get along with anyone, not players, not management, not media, no one.
I know it's not always about being a likable person, but sometimes it reaches the point where it's flat out counterproductive. Then you gotta make a change. Sometimes you can get away with it if you're winning. Todd did not.

Not surprised, tough break though with all the injuries.

they just made the playoffs this year, started the year awful but then rebounded.... Idk feels like too soon. I know he was a dick but I can definitely imagine him getting a 2nd crack in a few yrs

If they fired him earlier they could've given Charlie Weiss the job

Belicheck's tree doesn't have great leaves.... It's unfortunate, but I wonder, what made Walsh's tree what it is/was?

I'm willing to bet the same people using this as an excuse for Alex will act like it's not an excuse for Bradford.

My observation just from sideline shots of him was that he was a bit of a hot-head, not the greatest attribute in a HC.

Good for them. Can't be a total dick head (behind the scenes) with no cred...it gets old real quick.

Scott Pioli blames himself for not getting Haley a deeper roster.

it's the media. They make you hate people. I hated him too after they started sucking his balls when he started winning a few games.

This is the truth, Kurt Warner foreboded warnings to KC during the initial hire, that Haley was one of the most difficult individuals to work with in the NFL (as he experienced week in and out in Zona; the on-screen argument over play-calling during the Superbowl, ect).
Haley isn't a players' coach, he's a moody dips**t who belongs in the coordinator's booth on game-days.

That trifecta of badass coaching and the Chiefs still suck?
Creneel, Haley and Weiss?
Wow.
