What do you think it would take to get Percy Harvin from them? Taylor Mays is probably way more valuable in their eyes then most teams' because of Sing and they also have a real weak group of safeties...Hypothetically, could Mays, Josh Morgan, and Ted Ginn do the trick? I don't know how great of a rapport he'll have with McNabb cuz lately Donovan sucks at throwing to receivers on the run, he needs his receivers to stop and face him...that's not Percy's game. If that's not enough, maybe throw in a pick too.

The thought of trotting out Edwards, Crab, and Harvin (his speed/big play ability would perfectly compliment their size and strength) at wideout to go along with VD and Gore gives me a semi...he'd also be a dynamite return man....god I wish this could happen but it's probably just a pipe dream...
3 s**tty players for a good one...math doesnt add up

Ah but they won't think Mays is s**tty. Considering Sing fought for him in round 2 and is close with Frasier (former teammate), and Frasier used to be a safety himself and probably thinks he can coach him up with all those gifted physical tools, they may be salivating over him...and you can certainly do worse than Morgan as a #2 or 3 receiver, and Ginn replaces his role as a return specialist.

Why would the Vikings trade a former ROY Percy Harvin for Tedd Ginn who is only good a KR's, and Josh Morgan who is a good #3, average #2 at best?

Mays hasn't proven anything. This isn't Madden.
It would take a lot more than that. Maybe Crabtree, Mays, and a first. Especially now that they dont have Sidney Rice anymore.

This is absolutely a madden trade.

Ya, I can just see the GM of the Vikings going up to Sing and saying, "You did a bang up job in SF and you showed you have a great eye for talent and coaching. Whats your evaluation of Mays and how do you think we can get this offense ?"
Sorry, dude. Not even close to equal value. Mays isn't that good.

LOLLLLLL I wouldnt't trade Crabtree alone for Harvin, let alone throwing a first in there. This is Percy Harvin guys, not Andre Johnson...it's not like the dude is a superstar- he averages 57 yards and .38 TD's per game.

I know most teams wouldn't go for it. I said so in my original post. The whole point is because I think they would want Mays WAY more than any other team would. The HC carries a lot of weight when deciding personnel moves to make and Sing's opinion likely carries a lot of weight with their HC since they have an extensive history together. The fact that that HC just happened to play the same position and probably would get very intrigued by his physical gifts also helps- Frazier might think he just needs to get properly coached and that he'd be the perfect guy to do so. Morgan, Ginn, and a pick (maybe a 3rd rounder) could round it out to be tempting for them...

Actually to all the people that say this is a Madden trade - no, this would even be rejected in Madden.

Not even to mention that with Sidney Rice gone, Percy Harvin really has to be their #1. Do you think the Vikings would go into the season with Josh morgan or Ted Ginn in that spot??

Again, I know it's lopsided, I'm not saying it's not. The whole premise for this hypothetical trade is that Sing and through osmosis Frazier would find Mays way more valuable than every other team would.

Besides, there are worse WR corps' out there than Michael Jenkins/Josh Morgan/Bernard Berrian/Ted Ginn/Greg Camarillo/Devin Aromashodu (Ginn/Camarillo were the 2 leading receivers on the 2008 AFC East champion Dolphins and here they'd be the 4th and 5th receivers)...just saying...

LOL Ya. The Vikings would NEVER do that deal. Now, if we threw in a first rd pick next year I think they would do it.
