That was a horrible call but 4th and 4 is still VERY manageable and it was 3rd and 3 when he made that call. There is no telling what would have happened if he would of dropped back to pass, he coulda picked up a 1st down or he could of took a 6 yard sack Hindsight is 20/20.
It looked like Hanie had some room to step up and take off for 4 yards and a 1st but again, hindsight is 20/20 but one thing is for certain, he had NO SHOT at completing that pass

That 4th down call was also horrible. The two far WRs were running a vertical route while the 2 slot receivers were running a 10 yard drags.
Martz

Martz
He was still better off stepping up and taking off with it (from what it looked like) or WORST CASE SCENERIO, hit up one of the outside receivers who have one on one coverage and let him battle it out. NEVER force it over the middle, that never works

I don't know who's fault it was, but I will say... how often do you think he actually practiced the two minute drill?
How often did he actually practice?
Oh... and Cutler is a p***y.

I totally agree. I already stated he looked REAL good due to the circumstances of him not getting ANY reps all week. I wish he would of been able to pull it off but at least it was an entertaining ending

OMG, as I was watching the game, I said to myself "someone on the WZ is going to ask to trade for this guy after one quarter."

I thought he played well overall based on the difficult position he was put into with no time at all to prepare. He showed some athleticism and accuracy and a clutch mentality under pressure. He didn't fold. Sure you could look at an interception if you want. But overall he performed and was accurate if you ask me. I was impressed.
