I voted Green Bay just because Aaron Rodgers deserves it, the Packers were smart in drafting him whereas the niners weren't. The guy deserves it big time.

Rodgers was picked 24th. 23 teams passed on him. He wasn't known as a sure thing coming out. If he was so sure why did 23 teams pass?

NO. They just got lucky. At #24 you aren't smart. You are lucky. Same thing with Montana in the 3rd round. You are lucky. If the 49ers were so smart why did they pass on him 2 times? Same thing with Brady in the 6th round. If they knew so much why did they pass 5 times?
At #24 you have 23 things in front of you that you can't control. That's lucky in and of itself. He just turned out better than they thought and better than a lot of other teams thought too.

Actually, they were smart.
This was their first pick in the draft, so they could NOT have selected him earlier even if they wanted to. Your statement makes no sense. Or, at least, it shows lapse of sense in making it. You cannot simply attribute the lack of talent spotting in 23 other teams to GB just because they happened to be picking at 24.
I recall that when their turn came to select, they were astounded that the guy was still available. They called the Niners to find out if perhaps they were missing some key and that some flaw (hidden injury, or something). But the Niners said "No", they simply preferred A Smith.
The Packers jumped on Rodgers . . . even though they had a Hof QB withgood years left still on the roster. That's because GB is one of the better run organizations and with Ted Thompson running the show, has evaluated talent well over the years.

Lucky because 23 things happened ahead of them totally out of their control. He's better than the NFL thought. Sometimes it happens. Same with Montana and Brady. Only more so since we are talking about 3rd and 6th round with them.

You make no sense. By your interpretation, the whole draft is pure luck after the first pick.

Yes a lot of it is. You can't control the draft unless you have the #1 pick. If there are picks ahead of you the player / players you target could easily be gone. And that's beyond your control. So if a player / players that you target fall to you that you targeted at #24 yes it is in a sense lucky.
