Their season is over. I think he's molding McNabb for next year. Walsh would not tolerate s**t and even he would do something like this. McNabb needs to get his head out of his ass and get more serious.

Folks out here in Dc are ready to burn down his house. I've never seen folks so angry at a coach in my life.
They revised McNabb's contract so that they could cut ties with him next season if they wish. This move in benching him as explained by the coaching staff is so that they can scout some of their other players. In short I'd say it's safe to assume that McNabb will not be a Redskin next year.
In Mcnabb's defense, I do not think his decline in play is all his fault this season. He is definately not the quraterback he once was. However, also look at what he has to throw too. After Cooley and Moss it's basically pickles and popcorn. Their other starting receiver was in arena football last year and up until a few weeks ago their third receiver was older than the Statue of Liberty. They have been decimated by injuries at the running back position starting guys all year that most have barely heard off and the line hasn't protected all that well either. I live near DC so I have to listen to this stuff all the time.

Just trying to see what his other QB's have heading into next season. They all but know McNabb's won't be back. Unlike us they are actually trying to see what their other guys can do.
