If I didn't know any better i would have assumed he went in there to destroy the franchise on purpose. Like you said, the man traded away their two best player and reached (REALLY REACHED) for a QB. Don't forget he traded away a fan favorite in Hillis for Brady Quinn. haha.

ghost you know better than to compare the 2. we have 1 coach whose been pissn on everybody form the jump and another coach who has been persuading or massaging the view in a more subtle way (through different avenues shall we we say) to achieve their vision.

singletary hasn't alienated anybody but the fan base. we think he sucks and now the owners need/want to acknowledge that fact/opinion through the record that sing has produced.

McDaniels found a way to orchestrate and convince the ownership to trade their #1qb then get rid of their #1 wr. they gotten great result out of the replacements on the O but his overall way of leading the team just inst enough.

at least sing hasn't found a way to totally destroy the team and its not likely that he can do so in 4 weeks

He is a worst bust of a coach than any draft pick, GM, or owner bust. (damn, I think Niners own those other three busts)

What coach has ever singlehandedly destroyed a team like he has?

Josh Mcdaniel will be a great offensive coordinator. He helped turn Kyle Orton into a very good quarterback. He's not a good coach but I will be thrilled to see him come in as our next offensive coordinator.

Wait for the rest of Orton's career before you say he's become a very good quarterback. Mcdaniel runs a pass happy system that makes quarterbacks look better than they actually are. I'd be happy to land Mcdaniel as an OC since he could make Alex Smith look better than Tom Brady.
