Expanded Schedule may mean Expanded Rosters?

they would HAVE to expand the rosters, because there's no way that a 53 man roster will make it through an 18 game schedule. Teams will need more bodies for practice if they want to keep their veterans and stars healthy/fresh for 18 games.

Such a terrible idea, to expand the season. I would really rather they start a spring D-league instead, if they want to find ways to jack people out of their money even more than they already do.

don't understand it...a lot of soccer players will play have played about 50-60 games at the end of the year and the veterans couldn't play about 18 games??

Soccer players dont get hit every play.. Its a completely different sport.
In football almost every position is getting hit every play, theyre not made out of steel their bodies cant take playing that much games a year

I guess football players are pansies too because they wear helmets and shoulder pads. Soccer players only wear shin guards.
